^Lot 1230 Ruger New Model Blackhawk .38-40 & 10mm #611-04441

American made western style single action revolver chambered in .38-40 Winchester with a convertible 10mm Automatic cylinder. The 'Buckeye Special' model, with an engraved buckeye on the topstrap, was manufactured in Southport, CT. circa 1990. It features a blued finish, a 6 1/2" barrel, raised serrated ramp front sight, fully-adjustable rear sight, ejector rod with flat faced button, fluted six-shot cylinder, collared cylinder pin, smooth curved trigger, serrated hammer spur, transfer bar safety, and smooth walnut grips with silver/black Ruger medallions. Revolver retains approximately 98% of its original finish showing only a few minor blemishes on the backstrap, and a light drag line on the cylinder. The 10mm cylinder has a very light drag line and excellent chambers. The action is mechanically sound with good lock-up. The bore is bright with strong rifling, and the factory grips are excellent.
